    You know what? And this might sound corny, but whenever overdevelopment and pollution and human folly gets me down (and it does)... I go outside at 3am and look at the stars. That puts things in perspective.

    Just watched a programme on BBC about the water pollution by DuPont in West Virginia and lots of other places, alas I cannot see any stars because of the city street lighting so I'm going for a large gin and tonic.

    I live in a very cloudy part of the world, so when I look up at night I usually see dark grey stuff. And the occasional plane lights. During the day it is usually light grey stuff....
    That puts things in a different perspective.:playful:
