    Age...origin of embroidered appliques...Thanks!

Found this framed set of 27 old appliques over the weekend.

The appliques look to be in very nice, unused condition. No water damage and any fading is minor (I'm not sure if there is fading)....

    Ceramic Egg-Shaped Whatsit

A friend and I went on a "field trip" to a second-hand store today where I found this puzzling item. It's a 2 1/2 inch tall, 2 inch wide egg-shaped item that I expected to be a shaker. But when I...

1960s(?) cardboard jointed stick puppets - do you know these characters?

I got these 12 puppets with a bunch of other paper stuff from the 40s through 70s today. The characters look familiar but I can't place them. The only mark I see is a R (registered) mark on each one.
