nice painted box, mirror inside, marked foreign on the bottom. I've seen porcelain pieces marked foreign (they were from 1920s), I believe the mark was used to indicate it was for export.... -

Old Plate German? English?
Plate is stamped and signed. I think the stamp says Saxon, I cannot get a good picture. Using cinnamon on the mark doesn't help. The foot looks foreign. -
