Laotian Akha Basket-maybe ????
Found this 11 inch long basket w/ a 22 inch long strap.Possibly made by the "ngha" tribe (or Akha Eko people) of Northern Laos.
Prob screwed something up in this attribution, but who knows ? -

Especially at the bottom, see pictures, there is a narrow band of this at the bottom, that carries over onto the actual bottom of the vase.
