I believe these are little sealing wax blocks meant to be melted to seal letter/documents. Not sure why the yellow one says danger? Poisonous dye? Or part of design?

Chinese Export Silver Bud Vases

I picked up these 2 vases in a bamboo pattern today, I believe the marks are for Luen Wo Shanghai, not sure of the date. Early 1900s? Not quite a pair, one is 6"H, the other is 5 3/4"H....
