Any ideas on what stone this is?

    Hi,
This is kind of odd to me. It tests over the quartz range on the presidium. I thought for sure it would beep like I was touching metal and it did not. Petrified something??

    thank you

    Paging @Bronwen

A pendant for a change. The odd thing is I bought it for not a lot, about ten quid. But it seems to have been sold recently for a fair bit more, unless it has an identical twin!...

    Coral Necklace, help please

I have this double strand necklace which I believe is coral and was wondering what kind. Also, I think, judging by the clasp, it is a Chinese export piece. If that is correct, would it be an...

    Mystery box

Okay, I’m completely stumped by what this 9-inch long, pear-shaped metal box may have been made to contain. Any ideas? A hat of some kind, perhaps?

Anyone have any idea what, where, when....?
Got this from my Grandfather. I might know a couple of clues, but I'll wait till someone has something to say about it.

    Need help identifying the vase

Hello! Tell me, please, which factory can this vase be and what time period? I think it's the end of the 19th or the beginning of the 20th century.
    No marks.
