Bought a pair of these huge and very heavy vases, what would you call them? I've searched high and low with all kinds of different terms (garden, floor, palace etc.) and can't find any like them.... -

Victorian Brass Counter Bell

I found what I thought was a ebony 19th c inkwell stand but just after winning the auction I find out its made from gutta percha which is a rigid natural latex of the genus Palaquium. I suppose... -
