Anybody know what this little thing is?
It is very well made.
Mounting plate is 1 inch x 1 inch and looks like pressed steel.
It was obviously riveted to something with 3 rivets, two of which are still in place.

Isn’t this neat?? It tests for amethyst. I thought it was from Denmark or Europe but now I am not sure. The seller hinted to that but…. The price was right at any rate
