Another Vesta Case...Unmarked, or Is It?
First, the outrageous leftover silver polish (last pic) is not of my doing; and the apparent yellow at the bottom edges (pics 1 & 2) are artifacts of lighting, not brass.

It seems to have a compartment for something. The handle resembles a coffin. It looks Victorian to me or older. Heus Mortem in Latin engraved. Please give me your thoughts. Thank you -

Unmarked Silver Case with 12 Ancient Vestas
There isn't a letter or figure anywhere on (or in) this case. This always puzzles me, as whoever made it left no indicator of pride in workmanship or material. I just don't get it...
