Got a small copper box with what looks like a silver buffalo attached at the top. There is a name etched on the bottom. Somewhat hard to make out.

Carved wood blade
Any ideas? Ceremonial? What culture? 22" long x 6" tall. Width of blade is about 3/8" Painted one side only. Made of lightweight wood. Maybe cypress? Handle seems to have some honest wear. -
