I recently inherited this jewelery box from my uncle, it belonged to my grandmother, it is only stamped "Japan" on the underside, it's heavy, and has a good hinge on it, lined with red felt. -

Hongshan? Jade? Head Mask Covered Bowl
A steel point doesn't scratch it. Weight, entire: 1350 grams. ~5" crown to chin, ~5 5/8" across the ears, ~4 1/2" table to forehead. Do note the dissimilar elevation of the ears!
