1930's Golf Recorder
I came across this interesting find. I checked the patent which was filed in 1937. The idea sounds like a precursor to todays golf simulators!

In my searches, I've found instances where tumblers in this hobnail pattern are attributed to Doyle & Co. and dated to the 1880s.
